Chameleon decorators were recommended to us by friends. Alex gave us a quote for the exterior windows and when he came to work on them realised some of them were quite rotten.
Their preparation was extremely thorough, all the windows were sanded back to the bare wood and without any complaint the rotten windows were taken down, repaired and filled.
We were so pleased with the work we asked them to do the inside windows as well. They were punctual, reliable and exceeded all expectations.

Alex and Andrei his partner dealt with the paintwork on the back of our house during September – a rare dry period in 2012. We were fascianted and intrigued by the thoroughness with which they did the work required.
– They worked hard for long hours, starting before 8 in the mornings and often finishing near 6.00pm, using modern tools and materials.
– They spent a lot of time on preparation. Sanding, removing doubful wood and replacing it with either hard wood or 2 part resin filler. Cracks were filled as they have never been dealt with before.
– All the windows were taken off (several times) for preparation, including the tricky underside. Putty was replaced in many cases.
– Then it was a case of prime, undercoat and finish.
They managed to be cheerful throughout and although they were not cheap I shall be reluctant to use anybody else in the future.
